Knowing the National Navy of Colombia as a symbol of pride for the Nation, I had the task of studying and researching the life of Admiral JOSE PRUDENCIO PADILLA and I found the great love for the sea since he was a child, standing out as a sailor until he played an important role in the independence of our country, always in frigates, ships, vessels, ships of different styles and sizes, but with the great honor of flying the tricolor flag, until he gave his life for our freedom.

My artwork COLOMBIAN PRIDE is based on the beauty of our seas. In the naval and maritime struggles of Admiral Padilla, being a hero, military, marine and Colombian hero who participated in the wars of independence of our country. For the imposing vessels that sail the seas and face all kinds of inclemencies, frustrations, resistance, strength, joys, achieving victory, achievements and triumphs, which lead to the National Navy currently being the most important Naval Force of the Colombian Military Forces, The Navy is the most important Naval Force of the Colombian Military Forces and through its power has contributed to the territorial integrity and defense of the institutions under its responsibility in the development of maritime and fluvial interests, generating the country’s aggrandizement and being our COLOMBIAN PRIDE.
